All documents were initially prepared with WordPerfect 5.0. In 1993 I once converted them in Word 2.0. The result was a loss of formatting, specially column breaks and tabulation. Unfortunately, I lost all original files so I had to scan the print-out from the Word conversion. From the design and present outlook these newsletters all look rather horrible to me. However, at that time (1988!) they were considered "beautiful".

Why are the downloads so big?

Well, at that that time we have used an 8 point font. This has further been reduced to probably a 6 during conversion. Therefore, I had to scan them at 200dpi before creating the PDFs. At least they are readable now.

In any case, it is not the design that should be of interest to you - but the text content.

PS: Don't try to print the newsletters - you won't be able to read them at A4 size.

Newsletter No. 6: no idea if it was ever published. I was working on it but then my contract expired
Newsletter No. 5 (17 MB)
Newsletter No. 4 (8 MB)
Newsletter No. 3 (10 MB)
Newsletter No. 2 (7 MB)
Newsletter No. 1 was printed by Government Printers (probably at that time still lead-typesetting). Unfortunately I don't have a copy.
